FlexPass ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use the FlexPass iOS application and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.

Barcode Data: We store the barcode codes and labels you add to the app so they can be retrieved across devices and displayed in widgets.

Workout Data: We store workout logs, dates, types, and splits you enter to provide history and statistics.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the FlexPass service
• To authenticate you and secure your account
• To display your barcodes and workout history within the app and widgets
• To generate aggregate statistics shown in the app
• To generate personalized training insights from summaries of your workout history (see Section 5)
• To respond to support requests submitted via the contact form

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secure cloud database. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

FlexPass uses third-party infrastructure providers solely to operate the service (cloud hosting, database, and email delivery).

AI-generated training insights: To produce the optional insight cards shown in the app, we send summary statistics of your training history — such as session counts by weekday, split distribution, and personal-record trends — to Anthropic, our AI service provider. These summaries are used only to generate your insights, are transmitted securely, and are not used by Anthropic to train AI models. They do not include your email address, password, barcodes, or precise location.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and workout data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

FlexPass is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
